Preservation FAQ’s
-
If you’re booking a bridal preservation, you should budget for this and book whenever you book your other vendors. This secures your date. Our ability to take preservations after the event date is limited. If your date has passed or your event date is sold out, reach out to me through email. Bookings made 1 week before or after are subject to a $75 reservation fee.

It usually takes around 6-8 months. This is an estimate, and you will be contacted if the project is estimated to take longer. Coasters take the longest time to make and may extend production time.
-
Non-refundable deposit of $150 due at booking.
The rest of your balance is due after we receive your flowers.
Before we mail your pieces to you, you will receive one last invoice with shipping charges. We must receive this payment before sending out your order.
-
Absolutely! We can work with any flowers that you’ve dried yourself. All flowers have to be dried for floral preservation work.
-
All flowers change through the drying process. Some flowers darken, others lighten. Some white flowers turn a cream or brown color. How ever the colors change, they will still be beautiful!
Which pieces you order affects this too. Flowers are pressed flat for floral frames, the moon tray, and some coasters- which means those flowers often look a lot different than they did in your bouquet.
Flowers preserved in resin blocks keep their shape and color better. They look closer to how your flowers looked on your wedding day.
Some flowers will show bruising or transparent spots in resin. It is impossible to tell where these spots are before pouring resin. Lighter roses and white orchids often show bruising.
If you have any questions about what pieces you should order, please reach out!

Yes! Please let us know when you’re booking if you’d like to include any additional items. As long as something is dry, there’s a good chance we can include it in your piece.

Color correction is when the color of the dried flower is altered to appear more similar to the fresh flower.
We do not offer this as a service, but may use color correction at our discretion. We typically do not color correct any flowers for resin projects.
We do often color correct white and light pink roses- which tend to dry brown. These flowers are not colored to look exactly like the fresh flower, but an enhanced version of the dried flower :)

Coasters are discounted when ordered as sets of 4. We offer a 10% discount on any order over $3500.
-
Yes. Let us know when you’re booking if you’d like any sort of colored background. We personally prefer clear pieces, but cream or black backgrounds can look elegant with the right flowers.
-
No- and there are several reasons for this.
1) When I’m laying out your flowers for design, things often change in the final piece. Flowers may shift in resin, or I may realize I need to shift things around in your frame. There are many times where my design plan changes because it’s best for the piece, so I can’t guarantee specific layouts.
Design is the creative part of what I do. I have so many examples of my work. If you like my style, trust that I will design your flowers in a way that suits them best.
We do ask for your design preferences when you book- specifically if you prefer minimal vs full flowered designs. Minimal designs include less flowers and more negative space. Full flowered designs usually have some negative space, but not as much.

Resin naturally ambers with time. We use a resin that contains UV inhibitors, that will keep your piece clear for a long time. Keep out of direct sunlight to keep your piece looking clear.
Pressed flowers in frames will also change with time. They're sealed with UV protection to slow the fading process, but will naturally fade with time. Some flowers will fade within the first year, others may take years to fade. Please keep out of direct sunlight.
